The innovative hair transplant procedure that HSD
practises in its centres is performed in three
stages:
1. A precision surgical instrument called a Trilix,
designed to rotate at extremely high speed, is used
to remove a healthy bulb from the donor area (normally
the back of the head).
Removal of the bulb leaves only a tiny hole in
the scalp, that will heal spontaneously in just
a few days.

The Trilix then transplants the bulb to a hairless
area of scalp, where it creates a tiny pocket, the
same size as the patch of skin removed.
The bulb is now implanted into its new seat, and
the walls of the micro-pocket reform snugly around
it so that no stitching is required.
3.This
process is repeated one bulb at a time until the hairless
area of scalp is visibly repopulated.
Wait just a couple of months and you will see your
“new” hair growing. No other surgical
transplant technique gives such rapid and impressive
results. Up to 2000 hairs can be transplanted in
just one session and the transplant appears completely
natural, with hair growing in the right direction
on all areas of your scalp.
AFTER THE TRANSPLANT
SESSION
Tiny scabs appear on the treated area of scalp after
a transplant session performed using the HSD microsurgery
technique, but disappear after a week or so.
Patients can start washing their hair again after
only 2/3 days, but should use a delicate shampoo
recommended by the specialist.
RESULTS: NATURAL AND
SCARLESS
Just one session is normally enough to treat small
areas of hair loss but, if necessary, the procedure
can be spread over a number of transplant sessions,
even at intervals of a few months.
Intervals between one session and the next do not
affect the success of the treatment.
On the contrary, by extending treatment over a
longer period of time, you, your friends and your
family appreciate the results more gradually. Repopulation
appears more natural in this way and frequently
passes unobserved.
